A GUIDE TO GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH

In recent years the SGHS has increased its efforts to compile a guidebook, which could everyone offer a comprehensive, practical information on how to do genealogical research in Slovakia and related areas. These efforts resulted in publishing a detailed guide, first ever published in Slovakia (Príručka ku genealogickému výskumu na Slovensku).

Published Vol. 1 of the guide informs mainly about the abilities of genealogical research in Slovakia. Now, we would like to publish Vol. 2, which will inform about some other aspects of genealogical research in Slovakia as well as about the research abilities on foreign territories where people of Slovak background could look for their roots and heirs (Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, ex-Yugoslavia, USA, Canada etc.)
